Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to identify patients that would benefit from either hemiarthroplasty or total hip arthroplasty for hip fracture as well as the relative merits of cemented and uncemented arthroplasty in the management of hip fractures. Additionally, treatment strategies for the use of hip arthroplasty as a treatment for failed hip fracture fixation will be discussed.
